"In many shamanic societies, if you came to a medicine person complaining of being
disheartened, dispirited, or depressed, they would ask one of four questions... When did you stop dancing? When did you stop singing? When did you stop being enchanted by stories? When did you stop finding comfort in the sweet territory of silence?" |

The Alaskan Yogi is a person who is AWARE of his/her own POWER and STRENGTH. They watch how their own minds work and CHOOSE their thoughts. They use their bodies to benefit the
WHOLE WORLD, starting with those closest to them and starting with Alaska. They STAND UP for all living things including other HUMANS, PLANTS, and ANIMALS. They RESPECT the EARTH because they know that it feeds all of us, it nourishes us and provides us with everything we need to THRIVE.

Every day The Alaskan Yogi PRACTICES SILENCE and spends time alone in NATURE. They ground and BALANCE themselves in order to LISTEN to their own HEARTS and follow their own DREAMS. They are INTELLIGENT, knowing that the mind is simply a tool. They know that the only real enemy is fear and the solution is COMMUNICATION and a desire to UNDERSTAND.

The Alaskan Yogi recognizes that we are all BROTHERS and SISTERS. They acknowledge the fact that we have all experienced pain and suffering and that we are ALL LEARNING ABOUT LIFE. We are all here to LOVE and SUPPORT each others' BEAUTIFUL CREATIONS. They use COMPASSION and FORGIVENESS as the ultimate tools for HEALING and TRANSFORMATION.

The Alaskan Yogi has learned that they must LOVE THEMSELVES first in order to LOVE OTHERS FULLY. When they see suffering they are MOTIVATED and INSPIRED to help. They take care of their own bodies because these are the containers that hold our SPIRIT. Getting INVOLVED is never a chore, but rather a gift that we all received when we we were born into this WHOLE called HUMANITY. We are ALL IN THIS TOGETHER and The Alaskan Yogi is forever GRATEFUL for this experience called LIFE.
